Before
After
This renovation is also very special for me. Our client was a cancer survivor and had just lost her mother, who she shared a passion for cooking with. After her mother's passing, she lost interest in cooking and relied on eating out, which wasn't very healthy for her family. The lack of cabinet space made cooking a chore as some of her pots and pans were stored in the garage or basement, causing her food to sometimes get burnt. I suggested opening up the wall and taking one foot from the adjoining room, and the transformation was remarkable. We were able to give her a double oven, multiple pantries, and a dedicated space for the glassware her mother had passed on to her. She was a positive influence on me, and I valued her perspective on cherishing the time we have left in this world.
